Tools needed

1. Circular saw
2. Screw driver (power drill will be faster and easier)

1. Note: Deck screw box comes with the screw head bit that can be used with a power tool or a screw-driver

1. Measuring tape, pen/pencil

Method

1. Cut 2 fence pickets in half lengthwise such that each piece is 3 ft long.
2. Cut 2x2x8 lumber to 1 ft long pieces. You will use 6 of those in one garden bed.
3. On one end of the picket fence, widthwise, screw one of the 1 ft 2x2 pieces from the fence picket side in. Be careful not to split the wood. Start the drive slowly.

4. Place a 3 ft fence picket piece from step 1 above, perpendicular to the screwed in 2x2 piece and screw it in. Now you have one corner of the bottom layer of the bed ready.
